5870 Downgrading to?

Care to link me some sites on the 5850? if it does release early next year then it might change everything :).

as for MM, I'm not sure how to access it.
 
You need 250 posts and registered for 3 months to access members area. If you type hd 5950 and Q1 2010 it should bring up some of the sites.

im sure u have to click the "trust" button, bottom right of your post and sign into that and do whatever it says :P then you should have access soon after that is completed! think thats right anyways

Do you need to get some trust before you can buy/sell on MM?

nah, you dont need some trust before you can sell. you gain trust from succesfull buys and sells! people leave you trust after succesfull transactions :P and you dont need to contact a mod. it should happen automatically within the next 24 hours.

Yeah that sounds right aswell. Maybe I read about contacting a mod when it doesn't happen within 24hrs!!

well keep it and enjoy the fact you have so much power under the hood!! it will come into use with future games =] you can never have too much power imo ;p

im sure the mods wont appreciate this post!! id edit it as the rules state you cant advertise competators and you cant ask to buy and sell when you are not on the MM. just a heads up before you get a nice 48 hour suspension ><

no bother, just thought id let you know before you learn the way i have :P haha. and no. i didnt read the rules! i learned these facts the hard way unfortunatly!!

and unfortunatly u cant even hint for someone to sell something to you when ur on the standard forums! sorry :/

true, just afraid if I 5770 isnt enough power in future n it means replacing 2 cards instead of 1! Think the 5850 would b a good option and get another one at a later date?

Seriously some of guys need nothing more than a good IGP to display crisp web browser text the amount of time you spend on the forum beating your meat over what GPU you should own! :p

If you note down the hours you spend pawing through benchmarks and such like and convert that into minimum wage you could probably afford a Radeon HD 5850! :o

I just bought a used £60.00 Radeon HD 4870 512MB for gaming at 1920x1200 an it's awesome, in real world useage I can't tell the difference between it and a 1GB HD4890 . . .

Oh well as long as your enjoying yourself but from a 3rd party perspective it seems some of you can't see the wood for the tree's! . . . . B E N C H M A R K - A D D I C T S! :eek:
