5900x or 5800x for gaming?

5600 non X at £190 would be compelling, as would a 5700 non X at £280, 5900x is the only thing with any value in this release and > £500 for a CPU is a big ask

They would be the bargains of the century at those prices. £260 and £350 would be fantastic. @FoxEye must immediately buy.

You're off your rocker if you think £260 is a bargain price for the 5600 non-X. Ditto £350 for the 5700X.

Knock £100 off both and we'd be much more like it.

Exactly,when the Ryzen 5 3600X was cheaper. So everything moved up more than one tier in price. Wait until we are back to 2016 when the best CPU under £250 is a quad core.

I suppose all the memes criticising Intel and Nvidia for its price increases,are now back in the cupboard too.
