5970 installed

I have mine behind the mobo tray between the side panel but stuck with duct tape, it peels off after a while and isnt all that neat, what can u recommend? If u wouldnt mind, can u take a picture of the back of ur case so i can see ur cable management?

Down from 24k to 22k in Vantage but I haven't clocked it yet.

Very quiet in operation, very surprising!

Drivers are pants but hey ho.. they will get better.

I have turned off the central heating as it cannot compete with this thing :)

Deadman do you have your 920 overclocked?
Quite surprise your SLI setup is quicker, I doubt you'll make up 2k in vantage through overclocking the GPUS?

a Nvidia card gets more points in vantage due to having physx you have to take that into consideration, if he had a physx card in you would truly see what that card can do.

strange you need a physx card to benchmark lol, is there any other than batman and mirrors edge that use it??

on a more serious note, nice rig man, that looks an epic setup :) grats

the second link isnt working deadman, sais the result is either set to private or has been deleted :)

have you used the voltage tool to get it back up to normal voltages by any chance? supposed to fly when its been unlocked :)

Yeah ORB no workey.. for some reason it wont allow me to make the result public :(

Graphics card appears as Generic VGA.. lol

Not sure about the OP, but I used little cable tie-downs and small cable ties. Just make sure you clean the surface well with something non greasy first. Works very well and is really neat...

That's really good, mine all clump up and getting the side on becomes a struggle, need to do that with my rig now, will tidy up when I swap out the 4870 crossfire for the 5970

Looks like this is why I cannot make it viewable

I am using the supplied Sapphire Cats which are 9.10's

I have not modded or clocked the card yet....

Installed the Sapphire HD5970 download version of their Redline utility and it says "Sorry, this tool is not supported on your graphics card"

Anyone else had this problem? I'm running Win7 x64 Home Premium

That setup looks truly amazing - incredibly tidy. Now as soon as I get my card I'm gonna have to look at tidying my setup, though I'd be surprised if I could get it anywhere near as tidy as that!

Try using MSI AfterBurner 1.40 and see if that works with the Sapphire.
Strange that the Redline does not work though.

I went for the XFX Black Edition 5970 for this very reason of OC tools not working right.
