There was a glitch in the software that caused issues with updating via the settings app. Next updates should be fine however.

It's explained in the first line of the OP.

I got that on the iphone but not on the ipad :-s

Probably because the changelog in the OP say:

- Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air

Maybe your iPad isn't an iPhone 5?

On my 4S it took about 5 mins to pass that preparing update stage.

Is anyone else having problem with call quality since the 6.0.1 update? I've been getting people saying I keep dropping out - and thats when I've got 3-4 bars on reception? Not sure if its the update or something else? Wasn't doing this a few days back ... annoying.

Guys, having a moment here but how do I do a full fat update using 6.01?

It seems my phone is now beginning to reboot itself often so something is a-miss.

I alt click on restore and select the firmware right but don't restore after, setup as new then log into icloud and begin downloading stuff? :confused:
