Sent my HIS 1GB 6950 back to Overclockers because It has been artifacting. They've tested all of it and said there's nothing wrong with it, I've had lots of problems with artifcating on these games: WOW,CS. Now they've returned it to me saying there's nothing wrong with it. What can I do to stop the artifacting.

The thing to do first is to try it again in your machine, making sure it's fully seated in the PCI-E slot and go from there. If it's still doing it then I would suggest updating the drivers and trying it again, or downgrade them just to check to see if it's a bug with a specific driver set. Also if you have access to another machine to try it in I would try that as a last resort.

If it's still doing it then get some videos of it doing it and forwarding them to OcUK and see what they say.

How do I check if it's overheating though? What program to use to see CPU and GPU temps?

GPU-Z is good.

However, if it isn't overheating for the OcUK testers then you probably need to make sure that your case airflow is decent.

Without directly saying anything is bad about OcUK's testing procedures, it is possible that your card is actually faulty. That said, you still need to eliminate other possibilities.

Are they allowed to charge you £10?

Pretty shabby tbh.

It's clearly stated on their website.

Testing. All returned items not returned in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) are tested by Overclockers UK technicians. Any item found to be not faulty will be subject to a £10 +VAT charge if collected or a £10 + return shipping + VAT charge if shipped back to the customer. You will be notified by e-mail before any non-faulty goods are returned to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
