7 games to go.. Who do you think will be relegated?

There's no way Sunderland are gonna be in the top half, we are currently the worst team in the league, we haven't scored a goal since February 12th and we've had 2 shots in the last 2 games. Can see us struggling against West Brom on Sat too, if they score first, they'll win and they'll be above us

Your recent fixtures haven't been that kind to you though have they, City away, before that Liverpool who I didn't realise you had such a bad record against at home, Arsenal away before that. I agree the position I have them finish in is quite lofty but you've got WBA, Wigan, Fulham and Wolves as your remaining home games, much easier than what you've had up until recently.

Out of interest what has your opinion been on Welbeck this season? I understand that quite a few Sunderland fans are desperate to keep him.

Blackpool have been on a constant downwards spiral and i really can't see them staying up now. :(

Starting with Arsenal at the weekend Blackpool have 4 home games in a row, I think they could get themselves out of trouble with 2 or 3 wins on those games

i hope wigan go down then dave whelan can realise you cant sell all your good players and scrape through the league. its no way to run a football club.

You can't run a premier league team on the gates Wigan get.

Blackpool have the worst home record in the league, and thats with beating Spurs and Pool at home, last 14 games, 2 wins, 2 draws, 10 losses, 5 of those points were at home, they've been insanely bad lately. 5 of their last 7 games will be at home, they've got Arsenal(home), Utd(away), Spurs(away) to play.

Frankly Blackpools season could be make or break 2 games from now, Arsenal at home then Wigan at home, if Wigan manage a win, Blackpool are probably screwed. Shame, entertaining to say the least but can't defend for crap, frankly if they had done something smart like loan in a quality but unused 3rd string keeper from somewhere, their keepers really are epically rubbish, one decent defender aswell could have made all the difference.

Top half games might not hurt them, still this late in the season its the "big" teams getting caught out against Blackpool, so often a smaller team will park the bus against someone like Spurs and top teams expect them to and pay a less attention at the back, then get caught out.

West Ham, West Brom, Wolves, over the last 8 games are ranked, 7, 10, 11th in that order, and are all pulling up the table.

West Ham have a horrible run in though, Bolton, City, Chelsea away, Wigan, away, then a few home games that won't be easy, Blackburn, Villa, Sunderland, those three teams not at all in great form but all three basically top half teams who can easily pull wins out the bag.

West brom, unbeaten since Roy took over, 10 points in 6 games, form moving up, apparently the league since Roy took over, would put West Brom 4th, though again, they have a horrible run in.

Impossible to tell really.

Wolves have West Brom and Blackburn at home in the final 3 games, probably be those two games that keep them up or not.

Probably Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn is looking increasingly likely but I think the bottom 3 will be made up of Wigan Wolves, Blackburn and Blackpool.

Not sure tough to call, Wigan vs WHU at DW near end of the season, that is a massive game.

If Wigan are in the relegation zone then they are not good enough to stay up simples, Martinez is not good enough to manage a premiership team.

Call yourself a wiganer  brb just putting Sky sports on every weekend for the whole of your life

Wolves vs Blackburn on last day of the season to probably decide which of the two go down.

I'll stick with as it is..Wigan, Wolves and West Ham.

Start of the season my picks were Blackpool, Wolves and Wigan. Normally I get at least 2 of the 3 right, and looking at the table as it stands, I can't really change my view.

That said, looking at the run in there's a few six-pointers in there, so things could change quite a bit depending on how teams do against those around them.

He's managing a Championship team really isn't he Cheets :p

I think he's going to be a good manager, did really well in the Championship and has manged to get Wigan to be "alright" at times. Needs a bigger / better club.

Would absolutely love to see West Ham go down, and then 2 others.

As long as Blackburn aren't one of them, I can live with it either way.

Well he's a striker and he's spent a lot of the season playing left wing to accomodate Bent and Gyan. He was even switched to left wing on Sunday after 20 mins when we were 2-0 down so we could revert to 4-5-1:rolleyes:.
He started off quite poorly but once he was up and running he looks class. Hasn't scored too many goals as he's playing out of position a lot of the time so still not too sure if he's a top striker but he can definitely play. Would lke to keep him. If Ferguson wants a swap for Henderson I'd snap his hand off.

PLD PTS
15 Blackburn 37 40
16 Wolves 37 40
17 Birmingham 37 39
----------------------
18 Blackpool 37 39
19 Wigan 37 39
20 West Ham 37 33

Next weekends fixtures:

Wolves v Blackburn
Tottenham v Birmingham
Man Utd v Blackpool
Stoke v Wigan

So who's going down? Can't see Blackpool getting anything from Old Trafford even if we do play what people will perceive as a weak side so that would suggest that they're down, I can see Wigan getting a point from Stoke and Wolves/Blackburn also ending in a draw. Don't Birmingham have a pretty good record against Spurs at the lane in recent seasons? Can't see them actually winning though so it may end with both Wigan and them being separated by gd

I'd love us to spank Blackpool but Spurs to go a couple of goals further and Blackpool leap frog Birmingham on gd, don't think many want to see Blackpool go down, Holloway has been great for the league this season

oh aye

Wigan can beat Stoke, if they go for it, are Stoke up to it, great season, injuries, knackered from Fa Cup

Lets do this

Wolves v Blackburn = win for one team, hope for a draw and Wigan win

Tottenham v Birmingham = Spurs win, going for 5th

Man Utd v Blackpool
= not sure, will they rest best team, CL is only 6 days from that game, even 2nd team should beat Blackpool and heard they can get the best home record ever if they win by 4 goals

Chelsea 04/05 18 1 0 47 9
Man U 10/11 17 1 0 45 10

Problem Blackpool?

Stoke v Wigan = wigan HOPE
