Nvidia are just really good at marketing, Whatever truth or not behind the artecle ethics and marketing don't go in the same sentence.

The idea is to build a religion around your product and then milk your disciples for every penny they have.

This is true. I shop in Aldi and Lidl, and own a 7850 :p

I secretly aspire to own an nV card, but my annual salary is less than the required 6-digits :p
 
I have learnt so much about myself from my choice of who makes the card that I use to render the graphics of videogames.

All this cause I bought one video card over another? What is wrong with you people?

I'm not a posh person,n I can't afford :(

I just buy the best value for money,which so for has been amd for me,doesn't matter who makes the card

Top work who ever did that. Who ever put him on the AMD propaganda pay role will not be happy with his new name.

AMD and Nvidia are good at different kinds of marketing.

Nvidia is better at marketing to the masses (which clearly brings the sales) but AMD is better (and has been pushing it very hard lately) at social media.

AMD even admits (or at least used to) that they're specifically targeting forums, people with a voice, etc.

On the social media side Nvidia just usually puts out random tweets etc. about the stuff they do, while AMD on the other hand has some strategy involved and it can be seen from the way their social media presence is received.

And on an unrelated note I managed to get Roy to follow me on twitter :o
