No, for one the repy was based off of KillBoY_UK's pricing in his post and secondly it was pointing out the shift in second highest tier pricing at the time, take that up with Nvidia not me.

so the same article says the GTS (second tier to GTX) was also not far off
keep digging though, it is pretty funny to watch

So was the Voodoo 5 6000's list price.
