I tried the 10 hour Nyan cat video when it first went up on Youtube. I don't think people realise how effective sound torture is. There's a reason the Yanks used it from Waco Texas to Iraq, Afghanistan and against their own citizens during protests and developed the LRAD. I couldn't complete 10 hours of Nyan cat. I couldn't complete 4. I couldn't imagine spending three days listening to it not being allowed to speak. It would end up with me probably going full "I have no mouth, and I must scream".

To be honest it's a bit of a shame that it's come under so much criticism. It does seem a bit silly now but it's a sorry state of affairs when someone can't even attempt a charity thing without abuse and scrutiny
