7950 Problem

Yeah still getting nowhere. Even setting it to PCI in the bios doesnt hold it just always reverts to auto. I am just at a loss as to what the answer is
 
Is it worth me sorting out all my programs etc. If I am going to have to replace the motherboard? I assume that will need a fresh windows install?

You can get away with it sometimes but best to do a clean install. It could save potential headaches and head scratching.

No idea what weehamish is on about.
 
Unfortunatly I cant. At this point im more inclined to think its the motherboard given that there does seem to be issues with it so will probably order a new board and see if that sorts out the situation. I realise it could be a dud card but since I dont have a way to rule out either I guess all I can do is replace 1 and see where that leads me
