Tempted to pick one of these up. How much taller are they from the corsair lpx modules? Will I be able to fit them in without removing my Dark Rock Pro 4?

Can you go into a bit more detail into the difference in the quality and split the ram into tiers please. For example you have said the 3200 and 3600 ones are the same just configured to a different xmp.

Some people seem to be getting their 3200 ones to 3600CL14 which is amazing, but I am guessing that is still a bit of a lottery? Do you need to direct over the ram air flow for such speeds? My case has plenty air flow with 2x 200mm fans at the top of the case as exhaust and two intake from front and side. Plus 140mm exhaust at the back of case.

My understanding is these days they need to be numbered from the same batch and tested together. Otherwise no guarantee it will work. I could be wrong though. To me memory seems a lot more picky with ddr4 than I ever remember. Maybe that is on the ryzen platform only.

How comes? Not in the mainland UK or have you not linked your forum account to the shop?

Also why not go for the 3200MHz one and save a tenner? They are the same quality ram according to Gibbo so you can run it at the same speeds. Only difference is the xmp profile.

yeah am mainland bud in scotland just no love whenever it comes to the free postage. went for the 3600 so i don't need to fart about with anything.
 
Just ordered. Might not use this RAM for a couple of months tbh, but that and the PSU are purchased. Just need a mobo and chip now :-)


I noticed a slew of problems on the checkout journey that really need some attention. Where would I send the list to?
 
Act quick guys, memory prices have risen 10-20% this week from suppliers, more rises expected, tomorrow I shall be removing these offers and doubt we shall see them again, snooze and you lose.

i have same mobo and cooler as you and it fitted no problem just had to remove the fan to do it. if filling all slots then it will deffo need removed to get to the first slot unless you have low profile which these aint that is for sure.

Yep, installed mine today. I managed to install it fine and as you say would have to remove the cooler to access the first slot, but I use the 2nd slots anyway, so had no need.
 
Got mine today. Went for the 3600. I know its the same as the 3200 but hey ho.

So that's RAM and PSU... Just need to decide mobo and CPU.
 
error in memtest last night just on xmp settings and had blue screen irql_not_less_or_equal. well this sucks.

That does suck man. Try inputting the Ryzen DRAM Calculator 3600 SAFE settings and give that a go maybe. So much for not farting about with anything in the end.

i've set it to 1.40v instead of the 1.35v see if it helps..hopefully.
