So I just installed the 3600 C16 along with my new 3700X and I'm getting an OD error code with no POST. I'm on the latest BIOS for my CH6 and it POSTs fine when I put my Trident 3200 C14 back in. Any ideas?
Thanks, have tried both (though only 1.05 for the SOC voltage so far) but I still get the error.
I can try it in my HTPC - will do so after a quick shop.are you able to test the new ram in another machine and replicate the error?, if so i'd say the ram is bad which would suck
Tried that, still no luck. Leaning towards defective stick at this point.hhmmm try one stick of the new stuff. if it works, remove and test the other
Hi all I have 4x8gb 3600c16 ram 8 pack which i bought last year at XMP settings on a gigabyte master with a 3900x, would the ripped 3600c14 versions make that much difference compaired to these in performance ?
I have not even tried to get the fram to 1:1 one yet which is 3733
thanks
Undetectable I would say in general usage. A tuned 3600 c16 kit will be better than an untuned 3600 c14. So tighten those secondaries.Hi all I have 4x8gb 3600c16 ram 8 pack which i bought last year at XMP settings on a gigabyte master with a 3900x, would the ripped 3600c14 versions make that much difference compaired to these in performance ?

CrikeyI've not read through a lot of the last few pages fully, so if this has been mentioned then please ignore me
I was just curious to see what settings I could get out of the Ryzen DRAM Calculator with these 3600C14 sticks and noticed an amazing set of figures in the bottom left box where it shows RAM quality etc! Best I've ever seen

Yep, if you look at the top right hand corner, if it shows the ram info above the Help & About buttons then its been imported!Crikey
Is that after you've imported thaiphoon?
I'll have to run it again to check. That's an interesting score but I feel like it's bugged or something. The G.Skill C15 kit I have was 100 and 4600 C16. You would assume 100% would be a maximum score.
What's the screenshot for the Main tab Fast preset looking like? I wonder if it will also recommend 14-14-15-28 at 1.45v
