8 PACK MEMORY RANGE GROWING: SAY HELLO TO 8 PACK RIPPED EDITION & 32GB KITS!!!

No go mate. Same get into Windows and it blue screens.

Bit more reading today I think. I think I need to try things in stages but I'm not sure where to start....

Try changing the TCL back to 16 and or TRCRD to 16 and see if this runs stable.

If your still having problems I'd just leave it at the XMP setting for the time being and try again in a couple of months when there are more mature bios available.

Ok reset everything back to the xmp setting and just changed TCL (14), TRCDWR (15), TRCDRD (14) and TRP(14) and changed the voltage to 1.45 and its booted and hasnt yet crashed (i know this doesn't declare stable but its progress).

going to try setting Fclk next.. I have read that tfaw and trfc are the next most important settings so might try them next but theres clearly something in the other settings it doesn't like.

Good fun though :)

Is it the 32gb / 3600 kit you have?

Just a quick question about trfc. In the bios I have options trfc1, trfc2 and trfc4 I think off the top off my head. When people are taking about trfc are they just referring to trfc1? And what do I do with 2 and 4? Just leave them? Set them all to same value?

Interesting results from igor on the 3800C14 kit.

Instability due to temperature and timings found at 45c. A simple change of RCD to 15 from 14 was then stable with the same temps. Other pertinent info: "I’ve had the case where my RAM was stable overnight while only the TM5 was running, but after 30 minutes of gaming the graphics card generated so much excess heat that the RAM became too warm and thus unstable."

Had to RMA my 32GB kit as one of the sticks would repeatedly produce errors regardless of speed set in bios, even as low as 2400 would produce errors :( Requested a replacement kit, what's the usual turnaround at the mo?

Are you still running these settings without any hassle? Keep meaning to try these out.

Yep, no issues at all.
Latest bios isnt great but thats another story. Memory was stable with the new bios though and the above settings.
What work for me may not work for others. Worth a shot though i guess, can always revert settings
