Seems to me AMD were a bit too ahead of the game, right now it seems to be in the same boat as x64 was in the early days. I'm sure in a few years when more software can take advantage Intel and AMD will be competitive again...

Because im not a complete computer geek like some guys who take this stuff seriously and i was sucked in by all the hype and PR. But at the end of the day when the system is up and running im sure ill be more than happy with it.

Just a few slightly paraphrased versions of posts there.

A lot of the replies gave sensible, balanced responses and a few gave slightly "just get a 2500k" type ones but in all case you stayed blinkered and defensive and leapt at every boost given you, however tenuous.
Even most of the AMD user responses were along the lines of dozer being a complete **** shower.

Either:
1) Troll
2) Fanboy
3) Desperately defending a bad purchase
