The fluid absolutely ****ed out as soon as I filled the res.

Upon closer inspection, I found the fault.

Yup. I forgot the o-ring. What a plonker.

It get's better though. In my attempt to empty the reservoir into the loop to reduce the fluid split all over my desk, I turned the pump on and, you guessed it, shorted the pump and killed it.

That is why I will never watercool, I am to clumsy, so clumsy in fact I just got gum over my keyboard. Looking forward to seeing the finished product though!
 
It's nice to see a build log where you think "that is beyond my skill entirely". Not in a million years would I have come up with that tidy a setup, nor braved the scraped knuckles from fitting the tubing in those tiny crevices. Bravo.
 
While I love the look of this even if the hole are filed down nice and smooth I'd be worried about wear on the tubing from motion. I'd want some kind of protection
