Does anyone make one of these? i have a spare 8x slot i could use for a gen 4 M2 drive, but i can't seem to find one anywhere. Do any of you know of one?

Gen 4 m.2 would probably* work in a regular PCIe to m.2 add-in card, just at 3.0 speeds.

*Haven't tried, 3.0 cards work fine though

While bandwidth is same converting x8 PCIe v3 to x4 PCIe v4 would need active "bridge/converter" chip.

Anyway unless doing something really heavy PCIe v4 NVMes are really paying for no real difference.

yes, I've got the ASROCK 4xNMVe PCIE3.0 adaptor running Sabrent Rocket PCI4.0 NMVe drives (5500mb/s), but they max at 3500MB/S which is fine due to the PCIE3.0 slot.
