Actually that sort of frame rate is almost ideal for the application it was intended for - general security and providing a record of who/what was in that area (at a checkpoint by the looks of it - in other words things that would normally be at a stop).
It was never intended to capture something moving at 200mph+, if it was it would be a high speed camera.
A full speed camera would run through it's tapes every 3-4 hours, or 8 hours (if on normal long play), the sort of system used would allow it to be changed once a day, then archived easily (without using a lot of space) for months/years if needed.
 
What research has been done into the mechanism of the crash, generally points to the wings folding in along the length of the aircraft body which was already entering the buidling through a doorway that was surrounded by thick granite stones.

I'm trying to imagine that. A nice flat lawn, a plane whose wings are angled up above the horizontal by a few degrees and whose belly is lower than the wings. How does the pilot manage to touch both wings, one after the other, onto that nice smooth lawn and break them off? And wouldn't that leave two large, wing-shaped chunks of metal flying off somewhere? As well as scrape marks?

It would have created like a vortex. The Fuel would be mist type particle which would have just been sucked into the building
 
I don't think anyone here really knows what the result of crashing a plane at 500MPH into a building as strong as the Pentagon on purpose would do. All these conspiracy theories are pointless.
 
If you look carefully enough you can see the more of the plane in this frame.

The only person who I think would come close would be VIRII or the airport people like Scuzi. :)
 
I dont understand what the problem is. We've all seen clips from security cameras with frame rates so slow that people skip in and out of the frame. (Imagine a camera stream from a petrol station or something, you get the idea). Now imagine something flying through the camera at 500mph (or whatever the plane would be doing). It's perfectly reasonable to see that theres every chance you'd get NONE of the plane in ANY of the frames. If it were to appear in any of the frames, it would be ONE frame at the most.
 
That video shows nothing new as far as i can tell, why don't they release all the footage from that day and at least try to prove what they say happened is true?

The story about the id card or passport that managed to land intact on the ground was the most ridiculous story i think i've ever heard and i've read a lot conspiracy and generally weird stuff as well!
 
the reason there are conspiracy theories is because there is so much unanswered. A lot of people lost there life on that day and it is a terrible thing.
After watching some videos on the web especially about the plane hitting the pentagon, it does make you wonder some key points, Especially point of impace on the pentagon. One big hole?, no other marks on the wall ? etc where the wings SHOULD have hit.

I'll keep an open mind on this one.

Interesting how conspiracy theorists ignore RELIABLE eye witness evidence. I know who you are referring to fatiain and I would trust his eyesight and integrity without question.
