Isn't a 30" monitor a bit big for gaming on unless you're going to have your monitor about 4 or 5 feet away on a wall? Otherwise I think a sore neck would surface!

Lol i rarely sit that far away from my 46" TV.

A 30" monitor isn't that big really, i sit right infront of mine and hardly have to turn my head much or at all when gaming on it.
I can imagine that in the future when large monitors are far more common, people will be like "you have a 19" monitor? how can you see anything on that!!"

Was pretty obvious that it would beat the X2, the single GTS is faster than the single 3870, so 2x GTS's would be faster than 2x 3870's, don't have to be a genius to work that one out. :p

You may as well just buy 2x single GTS's and SLi em, as your gona save £100+ quid, jesus that must be some expensive gaffa tape they using to stick em together. :D

Only if you have a SLi Mother Board does it work out cheaper, if not a new motherbaord and then for all the people with vista OEM you have to buy a new copy of that as you have a made changes to your hardware

I'd take the X2 over the GX2 even if they were the same price.

I got stung with drivers over my 8800GT - no way would I put myself through the extra headaches that thing would give me regarding heat and power.

Nah, just crack Vista, even if it's legit, then you can change as many mobo's as you like.

There is no need to.

You phone MS and tell them your Mobo fried or it was so much trouble (680i or 780I) you swapped it for another Chipset.

They will be understanding and helpfull.

X2 can be had for 230inc, so if these are really 399, or there abouts, are they really worth 170 quid more?

I think a lot of people complete miss the point of this video card. It's supposed to be expensive, it's supposed to appeal to those with more money than sense who want the absolute latest and fastest without compromise.

Sure, it's a pointless card for the average enthusiast, but they will sell. Hell, if I had tonnes of disposable income like some people do I'd probably buy one. Unfortunately I don't.

Lots of peeps plead poverty but can go to store for Drink and Fags every night, and eat Chinese/Indian most nights.

I simply ignore them, if you want something in life, you at times need make sacrifices to get it.
