Hmm, soon nobody will have any money anyway due to current economic crisis. Nvidia and ATI can release cards capable of running Crysis at 200FPS with everything on ultra high. Nobody will be able to afford these cards because we all will be busy thinking about our rents, food and energy prices.

I guess we will have to see what price happens.

No-one has yet mentioned muliple monitors and SLI either, only fair seeing as ATI/AMD can do it.

Also the audio out from HDMI sounds pretty cool on the AMD cards.

to be honest though I don't think the price is too bad, that is if we are lucky enough to get it at anything need $600 - 650 . My 8800GTX wasn't that far off that 8 months back and the ultra still isn't far off that if you can find it.
For what it is at the suggested US costs it is a very good card. I won't be getting one, but it does what it was built to do - beat AMD.

I knew it would happen, there I was, perfectly happy with my OC2 8800GT and now looking at these fps charts, Im not happy and I want one...

The GX2 is the new single card two beat in terms of performance now, not surprising really. Shocking performance of three X2 cards in XFIRE though, even the 9600's in SLI put it to shame, now who said XFIRE scales better than SLI.:D

You can't crossfire 3 X2s, it's 3 GPUs as in an X2 and a 3870

Yeah, looking at the review that contrasts between the GX2 and the GT, there isn't much in it, and on the price/performance stakes SLI GT's win hands down.

The GX2 is an idiotic product tbh, far too overpriced.

Good performance, quite impressed actually. But very very overpriced when you look how close the SLi 9600's are in many of the tests, and you can get a pair of those for less than half the price of a GX2...
