The difference is minimal, especially at 1080/1440. Thats gotta be disappointing for a £600 new chip?

Any link? Most of the benchmarks I've seen have an overclocked 980 Ti matching with a 1070, gaining a few FPS over it at best?

Nevermind, watched it. Realised I misread, thought it was comparing an OC 980 Ti to OC 1080

If the launch was £499 then, just about, OK. The launch price puts a really negative perspective on its performance though in my opinion.

Performance not so much the issue as PP £

Many other videos tell a different story. 20-30% stock-stock, aswell as OC-OC.

A few games its not a big difference, but some there is a nice gain
