Not sure on this, NH has always been very good for me but like you said maybe they can't supply full bandwidth due to bad routing or whatever. I'll try Giganews if you're saying it maxes out your 20mb

[edit] Having said that $24.99/month compared to NH's $14.99/month, I think I can live with a slightly reduced speed

I'd still be interested in other 20mb Newshosting users comments!

lol, well about 20 mins at least, then its 580Kb/s. It was better on 10mb without traffic shaping.

Personally I have found best performance when using 4 from each server at the same time!

I get the same on my 20mb connection using 8 threads.
Im sure newshosting only allow a max of 8 connections, anymore than that and you are risking being banned from their servers.

What client is that your using?

Also using the Euro Newshosting Server here with 8 connections maxs out my VM 20mbit, however I used to struggle to max out the 10mbit on the US servers.
