Hey guys,
Just want your feedback on which of these systems would be the best all-rounder (Gaming, video editing, etc.)
A.
Intel I7 980x £590
Samsung F3 1TB Raid 0 (2x) £40
90GB Vertex 2 3.5" ssd £140
12GB corsair Vengance 1600Mhz £150
23" Asus VG236HE £280
Asus Sabertooth TUF £150
1200w Coolermaster Silent Pro £160
=====
£1520
B.
Intel I7 2600K £280
Samsung 3 1TB Raid 0 (2x) £40
90GB Vertex 2 3.5" ssd £140
8GB Corsair Vengance 1600mhz £150
23" Asus VG236HE £280
Asus P8P67 Deluxe Intel P67 £180
1200w Coolermaster Silent Pro £160
======
£1230
1. I already have one samsung f3 1TB hdd, so that is why I only put down £40 for one.
2. I used 12GB ram for the 1366 option, because it will keep it triple channel and 8GB for the dual channel 1155
3. My budget is about £1900
4. I want to go with Nvidia, 3D vision within the next month. i know AMD have their own 3d now but I want to keep to nVidia (I am not a fanboy i have a 4890 at the moment).
5. GTX 480 is £255 and the GTX580 is £385, would it be better to get two GTX480 and put them in SLI or just a single GTX580.
6. If anyone has a better set up for around the £1900 mark could you please note it down.
7. At the moment I have:
AMD 1055T
4GB DDR2 600Mhz
Asus M4A87-E
ATI 4890
I to me seems like the I7 2600k is a step back. i know the 2600k is better at gaming than the 1055T, but it is 6coreV4core.
8. I know this is the wrong section, but what kind of sale price do you think i could get from my current "rig". Just thinking if I should pass it on to my father or sell it and build him a new one. Cause 1055T is a little Overkill for what he uses it for.
Sorry for all the questions, Thanks in Advance
Alex.
