How is it innovative? The original Unreal Tournament had conquest mode, with about 6 different maps and different goals on every one!

I suggest you watch your language in future.Trilogy said:Whats more the ******* at EA havent even put dx9 file in the demo my buddy locutus12 had to show me how to put the file in windows. betafield 2142 is nearly opon us and i've cancealed my copy

I am pretty bad at it I have to admit but seriously how much to guns have to wobble around?! Its practically impossible to take someones head off at any distance with a sniper rifle (recon I think its called in the game). Also the assault kit doesnt seem to do any damage, you try and fire accurate shots at people and if they are around over 10m away it takes a ton of shots. So anyway I'm not very impressed.

Altho im not suprised i dont like this game because i play infantry only and hated the tank/apc in bf2, so adding robots and floating tanks/apc that cant now move 3x faster much = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ for me..
Can someone tell me whats good about this game without just saying 'This games amazing' without actually saying why? please
Thanks
Jacob

With UT the past few years (and it looks the same for the next game) I've felt it's become more frantic, there's more information to consume, but for me it's lost any sense of tension and submersion in its fury.
With 2142 I get a much more realistic feeling when I'm playing. I know it's virtual but even so it gets me on the edge. It's like I can really play a strategic part whether I'm sneaking around in the shadows with a rocket launcher, or going full on in a walker blasting the hell out of everything I spot. It's also brought back the feel of 1942 for me a lot, which I didn't get in BF2 (which is totally weird considering it's the same engine?).

BF2142 is imo basically the same engine as BF2 yet slightly console-ready.
