Anyone else having issues with the screen going blank for a few moments and/or the graphics corrupting leading to the system coming to a halt and having to restart?

Yes, EXACTLY what I have. Happens every 2-3 rounds. Glad i'm not alone. I haven't tried disabling EAX and turning down the sound quality to medium with my X-Fi though. Apparently that resolves some issues, although a bit sceptical if it will solve the one we are having.

ive only got the demo of 2142 and it seems promising. But one thing thats annoying me is i cant seem to choose my monitors native resolution which is 1280*1024@75 Hz i can choose 1024*768 but not 1280*1024 has any1 else experienced this? i have a nVidia 7900GS.

i also have this problem and i found it to be the newest ati drivers for my card i am now using older drivers and the problem has gone away

What version are you using now? Omega or not?

Cheers. Will download an older driver and try those. Just happened again...going out for a jog first though.

Edit : Right, whoever finds out the definition of a Titan Air Drop gets a cookie! Just found a ribbon for it as well. Aerial Service Ribbon - IAR 15 Titan Air Drops and 25hrs in Air Transport.

WTH IS A TITAN AIR DROP

You get titan air-drop points by dropping your team members off on the enemy titan, you get driver ability points (air-drop in this case) each time someone gets out of the transport onto the enemy titan....I am pretty sure you have to have landed on the titan (or be VERY close) when they get out. Once they are all off pick up some more OR just take off from the enemy titan fly a couple of hundred meters away from it and people will usually spawn on you then just land it again for more air-drop points. Not a definitive answer but it's what I've found it to be.

realy iratating aswell. got 2 knife kills then bam :mad:

Yep, had some of the land going black whilst the rest was fine, PC randomly restarted too. Dunno if I like this game or not, I'm going back to BF2, as I don't suck at that lol.

I didn't know you can use the drop pods to cause damage! I fired myself off our titan and took down an enemy gunship in one today

Some good games tonight, seen a few OcUK names. Wish people would tag up though, makes it 20 times easier to spot! Went up my 2 ranks and got 600 odd points, that'll do for tonight

Hmm, when i went to try it out it turns out i'm using that driver. Will try the driver before that.

Has anyone played the just casue demo????? the reason i ask is that Dice must have casue everytime i sneak up to a tank or apc to lay the rdx (c4) the tank barely touches me but i still die, its extremely annoying at full health, tank turns and i turn must be the wheels/tracks/mavity pods go over my toes and kill me :mad:
