A Battlefield 2142 thread

Well, I can confirm that ScotsGuards2142 is a nice fast server with a warm welcome. First time I met Scooby555t he knifed me in the back :eek:

After that I think he let me win a bit :D

twl is clan based warfare ie unranked so no points etc and its infintry only 5v5 its good fun u need tatics and cunning
thanks for tryin to jump the server will try later on tonight after the twl match lol (playing a russin team) by the way guys i added u as friends

Oops big mastake on my part here the match is tomorrow night am a day ahead at the moment so if u wanna jump back on please urselfs

ROFL. I just got kicked off the CSA-Tryouts server for idling. By idling they meant I was sitting in a tank defending my silo. That's not idling!
 
I got kicked from the DGK sever this afternoon for flying and running over while i was in the jet one of the admins,kids need to grow up :D
 
I wouldn't mind but Silo 5 (my squad's silo) was the only one to be uncaptured through the whole game.

Scooby- I'll catch up with you tomorrow for a knife-fight :D

i think ** kick was via punkbusters auto idle kick means if u do nothing for the set time i mean just sit there u will get kicked my server works the same way idle times 5mins u don't get banned though

yeah i'll get my knife out and sharpen it :D hope to see more ocuk boys on there tomorrow
 
I've been getting crashing problems at the moment.
Started last week after a win XP auto update, game will play for about 1-3 minutes then just lock up, I have to go into task manager to shut the game down.

I did a clean reinstall (didn't delete my profiles etc in the uninstall) and it's still crashing.
Once it did pop up with a punkbuster message, but that's all it said "Punkbuster", I downloaded the manual update software and got it all up to date. The punkbuster message has gone but it's still crashing :(

I deleted everything and did a fresh install of the game.

after patching and updating PB the problem has not come back..............yet

Oh and remember to delete any folders remaining after ther deletion.

Also after the reinstall delete the folder in my documents before running the game for the first time.

gonna do this tonight coz im still affected by it. I was putting off uninstalling it all because its annoying and because i also need to reinstall ea link (i had it installed when i downloaded NS but weirdly its gone again sigh) I had already done a complete reinstall of punkbuster but that didnt fix jack ****

but first things first :)

Guys could you do me a huge favour.


In that video (about 2 mins in when it goes to him playing 2142) could you please tell me what weapon he is using?
 
It could be one of the re skinned guns when you put a pre order in for BF2142
and all it does it take up most of the screen.
 
Ah okay, I looked through some 2142 weapon info websites and it looks like the Voss L-AR by the concept art.

Another question, I'm making a new account so I can get a new unlock easier (less points)
To rack up some quick points, is there any class you'd reccomend?
