I have the sniper (I know there isn't one for this) and support, but no sign of the SF support available in BF2.

I'm wondering if I have to wait until the next promotion before unlocks are available?

Well you will have to play special forces for a round, thne next time when you log into your game if you have any more unlock points the special forces guns will show up in the same way the battlefield 2 unlocks did.

For my situation:

I had about 1900 BF2 global points and had already unlocked sniper and support before getting SF.

But that's it now, I've been playing SF off and on for a number of weeks but no sign of any SF unlocks.

I'll see what happens when I get to Sergeant. That'll give me an unlock in BF2. Do I automatically get the SF weapon in BF2 according to the class I've unlocked or do I actually have to select something in SF as well?

Let's face it! I'll still be guff but with more weapons to be guff with!

One thing that u are missing is that - there are no SF unlockable weapons for support and sniper. The next patch apparently addresses this issue. Other than that If u unlock a BF2 weapon then unlock a BF:SF weapon in the same catagory then there are no more unlocks for that catagory so "tier 2" must be a misunderstanding.

Yes your right, cancel "support" and write "anti-tank kit" instead. Clearly shown

Found the link to this site on another forum its awesome shows how to one hit kill a tank when in a tank and other details on hit points, weapons tactics and there is a good vid on as well as where to find some easter eggs (things like stalin etc).

Ahh so I have to wait until I hit another unlock in BF2? I'm approaching a promotion soon.

sorry to be so noobi,but where can you see what your next unlock is/how many points you need for it? i can see my global score thats it.

hours? ive been waiting days for mine to go through.

try bf2tracker.com, its much faster but is lacking some of the info for ranks and medals etc. it usually updates with 5 mins of coming off bf2

Still confused about unlocks. I've just been promoted to Sergent, and got two unlocks, so I unlocked both assault rifles? What about unlocks for tier 1 weapons I already have? Namely medic and spec ops.

So you already had the normal BF2 Spec Op + Medic unlocks, got promoted and then selected the normal BF2 Assault unlock and also the BF2SF Assault unlock?

What about the unlocks you already had, I don't get the question...?
