A battlefield2 thread

Right, got meself another unlock...sniper, medic, anti-tank and support left. As I usually play engineer or spec-ops, just wondering which are better? Am slowly coming round to sniping/spotting (fouind a great place on mashtuur), but do any of the sniper rifles sights zoom? Also heard support and snipers weapons accuracy are going to be improved with the elusive patch. Rarely played the other classes, except for the badges - got annoyed with wounded people running away from me when I'm a medic! Only use support to take down choppers, and spec-ops works better for me taking tanks out.

The jackhammer's great at taking out bunny-hoppers at close range :cool:

Got a similar specced machine Crazy Fool, and ping - I run graphics at medium, no AA, and 100% draw distance. Is slow when map starts, but 15secs later is smooth as, once everything's loaded.

i prever the M24 it jus has a superior scope, one of hte main problems with the m95 is hte noise it can instantly give away your position, whereas the other rifles will not.
 
Ok, thanks guys - does the M95 have any better characteristics over the M24?

It's really because my partner's son uses my account, as we can't get seperate accounts working - says invalid cd key if using his account, regardless of XP profile used.

He pretty much uses AT, support and sniper (and spec ops) - although does play rather dubiously sometimes! Sniper is the common denominator.

Sigh...... still no luck with getting anything showing in BFHQ after over a week of playing.

I've reinstalled it, logged in, logged out, done that countless times... let stay on BFHQ for quite a few minutes and still nothing. The strange thing is is that everything shows up on bf2s - http://bf2s.com/player/Boot_Singular/ and they get all their info from EA. So why isn't BFHQ getting any of this info?!??!?!?!?!

Please guys... give me some ideas! I'm getting desperate!

When I play as medic and throw the medipacks out I cant hear my soldier shouting out ''get first aid here'' It comes up in the text on screen though, when other medics throw packs out I can here em calling, is this right? I thought maybe this was why other players dont know im behind em throwing out first aid??

Hell yeah! It's like "here you go, oh wait no" run until they stop then drop but they keep running but usually on of the 3 I drop manage to get to them.

I seem to be medic first rather than a soilder. I see other medics get loads of kills whereas I get few kills but loads of points.
 
Nope Cerberous, you are wrong. Just a load of us put OcUK before our name when we are playing in the hope that a fellow enemy bearing the prefix OcUK wont kill us, enabling me to kill him with either my knive or pistol so i can get them god damn badges!!!

OcUK vs =50K= Friendly

OcUK vs =50K= Game!

Well, after a lot of you wanted a game against 50Klicks, so over at 50Klicks, we've decided that it'd be good fun for all of us.

So, on Thursday the 9th of February, we're having a friendly game.

It will be:
- On the 50Klick 50 Player server: 85.236.101.67:16567
- On Thursday the 9th of February.
- At 8:00PM, but if people can start filling the server by 7:30PM, that'd be jolly.
- 20 v 20
- Two rounds of Strike at Karkand followed by two rounds of Sharqi Peninsula.

One thing, though; please could all the OcUK member switch to one side (hence 30 minutes to sort this out), so it's truly 50K vs OcUK. Normal server rules will apply.

The first 25 emails to get to my account get the IP of the server that will be hosting the night. The server will be passworded, and the password will be given out at a closer date.

Please include your BF2 names and OcUK forum names in the email.

Shoot your emails off to [email protected], first 20 are the winners.

Oh, and remember, you'll need someone to organise your team! I'll be playing with 50Klicks, so I suggest you get in contact with each other!
