a 3 shot burst of a PKM is as long as it will take you to line up your shot and take it trust me

Yes there is. Head shots do a lot more damage than normal shots. try hitting someone in the body with a sniper rifle, they don't die. In the head its OSOK.

just been and tested this theory with some bots

it does indeed

no documentation as to percentages or anything like that though :rolleyes:

I find its not always best to go prone and then shoot at the enemy as instinct tells you, I mostly still do tho out of habit. As when your prone, from the front your head is the biggest target. Yes, you're a smaller target, but there's not too many noobs now in BF2, most people are pretty accurate.

not unless they're already damaged, pistols do 40-55 damage, would take at least 2 headshots with a pistol to kill

Just had the best round I've ever had not it a tank I think. First I was playing on Dragon Valley covering a few points as a sniper. (Can't remember the names now

) got 3 kills and 0 deaths. Sniped my first ever Heli pilot. :cool:

On the second round I was on Sharqui Peninsula (sp?) covering the TV station the whole time. Got 15 Kills and 3 Deaths. Also had a few pistol kills for the first time too.

Not very high scores but It's pretty good for me IMO.

We all played pretty well. Got the top squad award too which was nice.

I thought the server would be pretty pants when I joined but I'm glad it filled up on the second round!

I just got my expert AT award.

had some great games commanding. I also had a great round on wake island playing as chinease all i used was the jackhammer and a FAV buggy, it was brilliant. got about 38 kills.

havnt been using armour much recently, i've been better employed taking out tanks as AT, im normally the only AT guy on a team. however did get in a tank today and take out about 6 attack helicopters with the main gun.

I wouldn't really call it a Turkey Shoot TBH. Just me covering the flag most of the time. They didn't even know I was there. :cool:
