Its starred out because the forum software removes "text speak" and it l_8=late.

Second sniper unlock is one of the best in the game, even if its just for the sound that beast makes :D
 
ok, when does BF stats get updated? thanks

I've got 2 unlocks, I'm going for the G36c 0r e forgot whcih for the spec ops and the 2nd sniper rifle,
that sound ok?

If you play those two classes most then I guess so.

Personally I got stuff for classes I didnt normally play, to try and make the game less repetitive.
Argueably the AT unlock is vital since the basic weapon is so poor but if your accurate with it then its not so bad I guess. Sometimes theirs no point spawning as anything but a tank killer so I'd have it first personally

I don't like the DAO-12 at all. I prefer the MP5 or P90 to that. DAO-12 is only good for very close range, and the recoil on it is horrendus.

Jackhammer owns, especially for Karkand killing sprees.
 
Yea the jackhammer is better but the ammo is so short its only good for 1 usually whereas the dao will do 2. The p90 is much more versatile though hardly an assault weapon and I dont like the mp5, its a toy and I'd prefer to play with the mp7 if thats the game :D

I play assault the most, I've unlocked the G3 already and I pretty pleased with it =D
I'm going to get the L96A1 sniper cuz I dont like the barret big 50. the reason being there is too much bullet drop on it whilst sniping key positions from mountains

the second unlock I'm still undecided,
I hardly ever play as anti tank unless there is one where I'm about to spawn, I play spec ops quite a bit, along with medic and engineer.
do I have to unlock the G36 before unlocking the scar?? and is the f2000 more powerful than the G3?
 
Not exactly what we are talking about here, but where is the configuration file in the BF2 folder, that keeps the graphics settings, so I can edit the resolution to support my widescreen?
 
The PKM is the only support weapon you will ever need. The second medic unlock is a Must have and so is the G3. The F2000 is crap and only used by doormen at mothercare. The DAO 12 is a must have on vehicle maps as the default AT weapon is crap.

No, I use the RPK a lot, and any Support player knows the RPK is the SHIZ.
 
I've now unlocked the sniper =D ooooof the sound is probably the best thing about it, its accurate and got good killability =P ..
I dont play support much as I dont think there is much need for it as my G3 has as much nok down... its either the jackhammer, DAo12 or Sa80
is the Sa80 better than the M16??
and what is so good about the Dao12 or jackhammer???

Most prefer the Sa80, however its all down to your own preference. The Jackhammer is better then the DAO-12 imo, more damage.

The L-85 (SA80) is good because it has a scope so its easier to get headshots and fire from medium range. The G36 is actually more accurate but I still prefer the L-85 because of the scope and full auto fire.
 
hi guys, just wondered a few things.

obviously i play bf2 otherwise i wouldnt be in this thread. When im flying around in a jet or chopper i cant see much in the distance, ie tanks dont appear until you get close etc. Is this coz of my crap system?

amd athlon xp 2600
512ram
6800LE

I notice that other players start firing at me way before i can see them (head on) all i can see is machine gun fire coming through cloudy distance.

If i were to buy a new system would this change? ie be able to see into the distance better as well as higher res and settings at higher fps

was thinking an E4300 1 gig ddr26400 ram and a 1950xt. would this solve my problems?
