Because points do not relate directly to your score mate. Look up my stats page to check the kills. Its over a thousand as AA and a few other bits.
Odviously like most my kill rate was pants to start with. The round scores i quoted are recent ones odviously. I have no need to fake my stats mate.

Easy tiger. I was just curious as to how it worked.

No need to get defensive - unless you're hiding something? ;)

Sorry mate. I continually get accussed of cheating so am a bit defensive when it comes to my stats. Even last night during a fantastic match i was accussed of cheating. Some guy was shooting me in the ankles so i shot him in the face. He types HAX. After the match we were accussed of cheating because we totally slaughtered them. Whether it be source COD Batt2 theres always someone moaning.

But for the record i have never and would never cheat my stats or gaming in any way.

woot 4 topping the 4k mark. pmsl

You get a message you have unlocked, then gives you a screen that shows and describes each weapon, you simply pick which one you desire:)

Anyone else take ages to get onto a map? The loading bar progresses rapidly - perhaps 15-20 seconds? It then just sits there verifying data for 3-4 minutes? Majority of the guys I'm on Teamspeak with are already in the map and taking flags at this point. Really quite frustrating.

Defragment your HD dude, that should help quite abit - either that or more RAM?

What is it with people who play commander?
They either ignore your requests for support, be it arty or supplies or you get this:
In a allied compound............
Marine commander arty- Atpbx
Atpbx respawns forgives comander.

30 seconds later,
Marine compound
Marine commander arty- Atpbx
Atpbx - Check your fire **** head.
MArine commander _im not the noob running into an artillery barrage.
Atpbx - You are bombing a friendly position you ******* ****.

u just get that i dont get compalints when im commander. I have however bombed friendly positions many a time, when they're about ot be overrun, i tell the squad to hold for 10 seconds and then retreat i think ive only ever killed one soldier doing that and thats cos he stayed behind in the open. As a squad leader i'll quite often direct artillery fire onto my squads postion and we'll just collapse back to another location, its all sound, if people want to play lone wolf and not get orders or message from the commander thats fine im not responsible for getting them killed, i'd rather lone wolves made themselves into 1 man locked squads at least then im able to use then (direct them agaisnt enemy commander i do)

Wooohooo, got Lance Corporal now and unlocked the Sniper rifle (seeing as I play mostly sniper).

I was reluctant at first, hearing a few "disappointed" stories about it, but jeez, glad I did!

Took out my first pilot in a helicopter, and head shots are single kill rather than the old 2 shot version.

So definately a recommendation from me to unlock it!

Oh people will do it when YOU have overrun the position and have taken the flag.
Half the time, the commanders dont tell you what they want, what they are doing, leave you out of ammo, dont give you UAV support when you ask for it.
Be better off AI controlled and allocating priority to requests from the most experienced squad leader.

a lot of commanders ive seen drive around in tanks or hog the heli so in the middle of combat its hard to open up the map and click ok..

Ive only been commander a few times but I really enjoy it, always keeping an eye out for any guys in trouble :).

Anyone willing to share some tips on piloting a chopper? What's your config like?

Got my first gold as gunner in an attack chopper but i still can't fly them properly... :(

no need for a joystick you can be an awesome choppa pilot with keyboard/mouse with plenty of practise.

3.00 for heli/plane is fine for me mate.

Trial and error really, adjust the setting while playing a SP game.

I have joystick but mouse+keyboard is far more comfortable IMO.

Doesnt a red mark appear on the map as soon as artillery is ordered and then its 30 seconds after, also you get a audio warning I think.

I use mouse and keyboard for heli and I think proper joystick is better but not essential. Turn your sensitivity up (I'm on 6.2), the attack heli should be darting all over the place at your will but obviously you guide it gently with small movements at first. Learn on the black hawk first.

They move in axis, like 3 trapezee swings and you have to consider each seperately but also how they effect each other and get a feel for the weight and movement of the craft at any given point.

Start off small, take off 6 feet and land and increase the distance vertically and also forward till you are confident you are 100% able to do this always.

Remember the inertia of the craft will determine how it will respond to your controls at that time, like when on a swing you will have a smaller effect leaning forward when swinging backwards..

I dont play flight sims normally and I think the physics are simplified compared to any proper sim so it shouldnt be too hard to master in the end, use the sidestep keys to counteract the sideways motion you apply with your mouse. Till you learn that you will lose your centre of balance easily. (Steer right/left vs roll right/left)

Obviously high fps and good ping with no loss is fairly essential
