First off thanks Phil for getting me those SF unlocks the G36E is awesome! Also had a bit of fun with the DOA12, now I don't get accidentally hop when I engaged the enemy at close range :D. I've still got 4 unlocks and will probably wait for EF before choosing mt next weapon but the P90 is a must! I was thinking of getting the F2000 as I can get a bit trigger happy and the G3 doesn't serve me well and I can't use nade launchers at all.

GG tonight those who played BTW :D!
 
The OcUK team is looking good, we seem to play together well, perhaps with the exception of me who was vehicle whoring for the last couple of rounds on =50k= :o

btw Mundu, x for flares incase you ever find me approaching at speed with a missile lock again ;)

Yeah good game's all round. I had some very poor rounds!

50K ever planing on changing the map lists. Starting to get old.

LOL! I was think I kept pressing them everytime I get that warning and wasted them or something. Keyboard and mouse is better tha my PSX controller anywho but is still awkward.

I so want a joystick and I need those headphone so I can sing to you when you're all playig carp!

BTW does anyones xfire show BF2 server info? Mine just shows IPs.

I usually leave it a second or two after the constant tone to drop the flares or they can lock on to you again before you have a chance to get away - if you can deploy the flares as they fire it's best as they waste 1-2 missiles and you can pull some moves to get away.

Also, when approaching another jet/heli from behind, switch to bomb mode so they can't see you coming then when you can get a good straight shot in go at them with the gun then switch to missile mode quickly and fire if necessary.

I really need to look in to the VoIP though as sometimes I could just about hear people talking but others the icon just came up and I heard nothing :confused:

All the settings seem to be turned up/on

All those that are sergeant rank and above (I believe this is the minimum) and want the SF unlocks but don't have SF, add me to MSN (in trust) and I'll get them for you :)

yeah get it sorted as it'd make co-ing in the heli so much more effective ;)
plus its useful actually being able to get feedback from your squaddies, its a nightmare taking your hands off the mouse to type a quick message when you can just SHOUT!
 
The tones vary but you should release as the tone goes solid imo because they can fire early and down you if your unlucky. Takes time for the flares to drop, depends on your velocity in comparison to the launch site.

At present absolutely no chaffs are needed to dodge AA if you are certain where its coming from, just face it off and strafe the heli to the right or left quickly. (good luck trying this in a BH though)

I was on last night from about 7.45 - 9.45 and enjoyed it. Problem was I was on the opposite side to most of you lot :( Looked rather impressive on Karkand the tactics you used. Only prob is that I was squaded up with a few =50K= fellas and they seem to think they have a good idea how we will play on Thursday now. In general I got my backside blown off a lot last night but really enjoyed meself :)
