I was in a game like that a while ago, a guy was spawn camping the tv station, unfortunately he didn't see me in my Abrams down below. I lumped a couple of tank shells on him and he blew to bits

Albeit he was 15 or more kills better off probably but it was mildly satisfying nonetheless.

Not sure if this has been answered or not, but for some reason even though I have updated the game it still shows up as being 1.12 in game so I can't join the servers I normally join. I was supposed to be in a clan match tonight but seeing as the stupid thing won't update properly I can't.

Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this please? I've tried unistalling and reinstalling but to no avail.

Thats my fav map and to be fair there is two spawn points just for that base. ITs a vital base for the USMC so spawning elsewhere doesnt help so much but at the contruction site there is a handy humvee to shoot down the chopper with, spawning behind the fence like it does is ideal for cover.

That or I spawn on the ground at the tv station and make use of the AA and trucks to shoot the heli. That whole map is a bit crazy with the bases packed so close together and two helis constantly pounding the ground troops plus its heavily biased towards MEC. I guess just like biased flawed maps

Quick question, whats your most played map and is it your favourite one. If not, why not?

The patch failed, clear 2 gigs on every drive and try again

My favourite maps got to be Karkland when I'm MEC and Spec Ops, got to love hiding in the little hut on the bridge as Humvees go blasting along and then detonating and getting a few kills

BFHQ isnt updating stats for me, got the vet combat engineer badge ingame about 1hr ago and it's still not showing in BFHQ. didnt quit the round or anything

does this mean i'll have to get it again or will BFHQ update eventually? :confused:

i recommend the project reality mod to you all. its a more realistic version of bf2. and its awesome. Way more tactical and 1 or 2 shot kills. (unless in the foot obviously)

Just topped my first EA UK public server by a margin, playing only a a sniper with 2 pistol kills and 29 rifle ones, plus a few flag captures.

What about this new cheat going around?

Played Karkland map and there was some guy inside the building/wall or maybe underneath just kniving people and reviving them and kniving them again lol

He had 283 score!

Can these cheaters enter any building? he said he can go to other buildings but dunno

It's not a cheat , it's a glitch

. Used to be able to do it by spinning tank turret really fast then getting out or something like that , but it was fixed in the last patch. Although I've read on a couple forums another way to do it has been found as a few people have seen people in the buildings

Can get under the dock at dragon valley and do the same sort of thing , can just crawl under it :eek:

I just found out that if you land on someone's chute they get a TK. Feel sorry for the guy, I didn't know that at the time.

I believe its alt as default, could be wrong

Yeh alt toggles the distances of flags and mines on and off.

I didnt know that was possible, the flag thing was irratating at first and it looks kinda ugly. Not sure if I ever use it, so I may try turning it off though I've probably got too used to it now.

Land on barbed wire & walk on it for a unique sound effect :eek:
