Yes and also you can take a chopper out with anything else even a pistol. Although you just finish it off at the right time.

With an AT rocket a full blast to the glass is most effective in battle but actually the sweet spot on a BH is the centre of the wheel. On an attack chopper it is just under the rotors from the side. These shots are impossible during battle so just go for the glass shot as if you dont wipe it out you will at least kill the co-pilot.
Once the chopper is smoking watch it and wait for flames as if you shoot as it's flaming and it goes down sometimes you get the kills/points this is using ANY weapon even a pistol.
Jeep guns are very effective against a chopper but wait for it to pass you then shoot it from the side and behind. By the time it turns it's to late.
Taking a chopper down whilst on foot is one of the most saticfying gaming experiences i have ever had. A true gaming buzz I LOVE IT.

Or from a tank, lumping a big shell hundreds of yards into the distance, getting the shot just right and blowing it out of the sky :cool:

I've done this before :cool:

I was playing Oman, and was sitting in an Abrams in the Rock Fort. I saw an enemy gunship flying across my field of view about 150-200m away, over the orchard. I took a pot shot at it, not expecting to hit it, but I did, and killed both the guys in it

Deflection shooting for the win :cool:

Best is when a chopper rises over a hill only to be faced with you in a tank.

A full in the face shot and then hysterics sometimes he gets you and gets a point sometimes you get him a get plenty pointage.

It's just great to take down those wussys that whore it up in there easy chairs.

Youve got it all wrong, the best buzz is taking out a plane with the pkm, he was flying real slow comming in for a bomb run so i statred to shoot him, he couldnt get away fast enough so BOOOOOOM he was dead

Anyone had any problems with sound playing very slowly and stuttering??

Recently Ive tried to play, the graphics are generally OK, as in it plays as fast as normal (i would say) but the sound is awful, it takes forever for anything to be played, and its always stuttering. No antivurs scans going on (it worked perfectly well before even with one running)

I have had some problems with my system locking up for no apparent reason when I am in Windows (I checked everything, cant seem to see what the prob is unless its power related) but usually everything is fine. Dont have other games to test.

Dont fancy reinstalling but may do.

im thinking of installing BF2 again, the last time i quit was because i never had anyone to play with

There were public severs,but i ment i like playing with friends, riding in heli's/tanks etc, but that happened like never

!
Are there lots of people who still play bf2? lots of severs?

I play bf2 but I avoid clan servers (past bad experiences) if anyone wants to entice me to play with them (take that as you will) then drop me an email.

Are people still using the OcUK tag when playing, or has that all stopped now - just thinking it would help in finding forum members, it seems there's a few of us here who would like to team up occasionally, and could do without all the 'Noob' name calling from some factions of the BF2 community.
