Most of the names are in the last few pages, just get me and a few others and we'll start up a group chat room before the game and everyone can add everyone else.

You can use anyname you like, it doesn't have to be your BF2 name (XFire works with hundreds of games its not BF2 specific) but it can be if you want it to be.

Find a server like a 64 man strike at karkland server. Maybe the 50 klicks one or the superserver one?

spacky>It will tell you who is on or off using xfire while you are logged on and also what games they are playing. I generally leave it on. But when playing bf2 I use bf2 suqad chat or team chat internally as I find when having 4 grenades heading my way I am not exactly prompt with the replies ;) :)

Yep, SuperServer have 4 servers up and running at the moment. The Karkand one which I think will take a long time to get everyone on as it's full nearly 24/7. A flight maps one and 2 Special Forces ones.

The Karkand one is 64 man.
Flight maps is 32
Warlord 24/7 is 16 with 20 players
Ghost town is 16 with 20 players. :)

This would explain why ive been getting a negative score without actually teamkilling :mad:
 
Lol red tag bug, there going to fix it in the 1.4 patch apparently, but then again they have fixed it quite a few times now.

Tbh i've not had that problem since 1.3. Just like the anti tank missiles going through objects, ive been quite lucky it seems ;)
 
More info on the delayed patch. Looks like it will be a few more days at least!

Our sources have told us that EA has delayed the BF2 1.4 Patch by at least a week (7 days). There is a slight possibility that it may be released before a week, but the outcome does not look great at this moment. If more information becomes available, we will let you know.

Patch 1.4 (whenever it gets released) has the option to make a map infantry only. No tanks, planes, choppers etc.... That will appeal to quite a few people... definetley me as im anti-flyboy!

Yeah will be nice to have it as an official option, I hate it when I'm playing infantry only server and some muppet hops in a tank and lays waste to me and my squad.

I just wonder if those nancy fly boys have the Kahoonas to step onto the streets, I think not. :p
I bet you won't catch them even entering apart from when there browser messes up.
I am gagging for 1.4 and have held off playing even though i want to. The 2 week break has made me hungry again and it's definetly is time to march on to my Major.

I am going to have to play now 1.4 or not. :D
 
Or how about a defib only waepon type game! That would be nuts.

Or a smoke/flashbang type only where you have to blind your opponents and hope they fall of a ledge or something :)

I'll love that option, Infantry is much more exciting in my opinion :D
 
Its great fun i played the 1.4 beta 2 and that had servers with it enabled, i will add some of the maps are abit too big and dull for that option, something for the city maps and the new map imo.
