A battlefield2 thread

why dont you all just use an irc channel to idle in, instead of just using xfire? .. that way you can leave msgs and server info ... just a thought ;p

But that has ALL the other patches as well as the 1.3 changes.

I see I successfully converted you to the dark side of infantry only :p

IMHO City maps should only have jeeps/buggys, would make Special Forces and normal BF2 city maps 10x more fun and would force people to start playing more as a team.

Dont get me wrong, I love my vehicles and am getting rather attached to a J10 now and again, but they're only fun on open maps anyway.

indeeed.. If you already have 1.3 installed just download the incermental! 20mb or something?

I stopped playing as the 1.3 patch did my nut in. Hopfully 1.4 sorts this game out
 
Good games tonight lads, sorry I wasn't around that long, I had a crash right at the start, then a crash to desktop when I got back in the game, eventually got in the game and had a few rounds but it was lagging badly.

Yeah I love the infantry only :D Did you see that 222 score I got a page or two back, that was a mental round :D

I enjoyed the few rounds i got with you guys last night :)

Im **** as you probably noticed but im still learning the maps and the game.

Dave i was following you all over the place like a lost child :D my apologies.
 
Was a fun game.

Even though I could never get on your team. Always ended up on the other side and it wouldnt let me change. Really annoying. In the last game nearly every time I died (happens a lot) it switched me to the other team. Then I would die and it would switch me back..

Ah well, first game in ages and still geting used to the guns/maps/vehicles.

I noticed in your profile it says Med Student, I hope when you are training you don't go shouting "FIRST AID HERE" (throwing a 1kg first aid pack at bed bound nhs patients) ;)

Better still if he goes round using the defib onpatients whether they need it or not and shouts "Now get back to the fight, soldier!" BZZZZZZZZ :)

Anyone up for another round tonight? 7-8pm ish on 50klicks or superserver strike at karkland map?

Also I partnered with the member [OCUK]Romeo_kilo last night. I have no idea who that is but he/she was great at looking after me and helping me revive.
