You have to apply a discount before VAT - otherwise you wouldn't be charging the correct amount of VAT and that would be illegal/messy... and the accounts department may get a collective sore head.

It's 6 lines, so no matter what the quantity is on each line, it's still 6 lines. In your example the 4 fans is 1 line.

Also, updated to sort the basket most expensive first, saves you the job
