I've posted the odd pic or two of it before but it's nearly finished now...

£930 including car purchase...The guy was determined to keep it under a grand (you should see his custom mkIII Cortina Van running a 370ci(?) V8...Made from a 'tina Estate)

By the way, LSD, rear axle, engine and 'box are from an Isuzu Piazza Turbo. About 250bhp/850Kg.

That is a damn cool car, I can see it being a lot of fun. I need to keep an eye out for cheap piazzas, otherwise the chevette is ending up with pinto power:D.

I want his mirrors too, none of this black plastic rubbish.

Now you see, most of the stuff you post penski, i don't "get" at all, but that my friend is ******* awesome!

Under £1K too, now that is something

Lovely looking motor.

Just goes to show what can be accomplished if you do the hard work yourself. I'd guesstimate that it would be a £3-5k car if I didn't know it already.

I do get most of the stuff penski posts, i have a strange perversion for late 70's / 80's volvos for some reason.

Looks awesomefor under 1k!

By the way, this is primer, not filler ;)

Opel Kadett.

Going to be running:

Ford/Tamaha 1.6 Zetec.

Eaton M45 Supercharger.

Isuzu Piazza LSD/axle.

...And a DTA S60 ECU.

Win.

The guy who built the orange and blue car also built this a wee while back:
