Well judging by this release, it might not be that realistic because to me it looks like they have given up. This is a guarentee that Steamroller is going to be hopeless as well. They wouldn't release a CPU for £150 - £180 which is better than their £700 flagship a few months, or even a year afterwards would they?
At least the Titan had the performance to match.
In this case of this CPU...
More like "your shipment of fail has arrived"
No It did not.

HAHA!! That's the funniest one yet.
It does seem to be a bit of a status with this chip to brag with "I've got a 5ghz chip". I actually quite like AMD as the cost is low and it will perform well if you dont have high expectations.
This however will be my final AMD rig. Intel will continue to dominate the CPU market and AMD should stick to their g/cards. Intel will be my next.
AMD will probably drop out of the PC market soon with all the money they must be getting from the new consoles.

the 9590, well it's not like anyone's being forced to buy it is there? it is what it is: a chip for overclockers. it's not a chip your regular joe would buy, especially considering your regular joe would either go intel/just get the cheaper 8320/8350 and clock it up.
The funny thing is it is the SAME chip, different label, voltage and clock speed. AMD has basically "pulled a GTX770", but unlike the the transition of the GTX680 to GTX770 with the price lowered, faster memory modules has been added plus higher clock, the 83xx chips to the current FX-9 range chips with price shot through the roof...with the asking price at 4-5 times of the 83xx chip, purely only because of the higher clock alone.Same ****, different chip. All you guys do is spout the same old stories every time AMD release a new chip its getting boring, why are you even suprised its not up to scratch compared to an intel?
Which I really hope doesn't happen as without any competition, Intel CPU prices would sky rocket.
Won't happen theres some rules in place stating there must be 2 companies in the market.. Intel licenses AMD anyhow if they wanted them out it would have happened a long time ago
