A Brief History of WoW (and why it sucks)

I thought it was quite funny. You just got wooshed.

How did I get whooshed? It wasn't funny in the slightest.

South Park however was funny, this just failed terribly hard.

You of all people should take heed in what you just quoted ;)

k, is that something to do with me criticizing Warhammer? If so I've played Warhammer so I know what I'm on about.

Who cares TBH WoW is crap, why the hell would you keep effectively buying the same game every damn month?

Because for < £120 a year I get to play a game as much as I like, hosted on servers with great uptime. Free updates, fixes and GM support and in my case, I play it to the point I don't actually buy any other games.

If you play for 18 hours every month that's 50p an hour for something to do with your mates. It's pretty good value if you can't afford to be out every night but want something to do.

As for the original OP, read the first couple of lines, figured it was gonna be a poor attempt at humour so skipped most of it.

Wow is the best value game i ever bought.

Complaining about the subscription fee when people buy crysis play it for 20 hours and thats it.

Whereas ive spent around £200? on Wow over the last 4 years and have gotten so much time out of it OUT OF CHOICE AS ITS FUN.

No game is worth £15 odd a month my friend :p:D

Nine quid actually. And 12 million people seem to disagree with you, which is more than 99% of games will ever sell in its lifetime. WoW is worth the subscription way more than most £40 games are worth even a fraction of that.

If you're going to troll, at least try to get your facts straight. Hell, I only pay £18 for two months subscription, so where you're pulling £15 per Month from is beyond me, well I could hazard a guess.

I get about 40 hours play out of my £9 a month, fantastic value.

Well, you have to factor in the percentage of those accounts that are gold famers and bot accounts.

Because when i looked on a WoW box ages ago it said the subscription was £ 15 a month, and how am i trolling? im just stating my opinion so don't moan about me actualy daring to have an opinion that is different to yours :D:p

I don't even like Wow, but found this too bloody boring to read =/

If it's an attempt at a joke it fails harder than Princess Diana's driver.

Let's be very generous and say 5%, that's 600,000 gold farmers of the lot, you still have 11,400,000 actual players. 5% is a pretty conservative estimate too, I'm willing to bet it's nowhere near that high.

It's always been 9 quid, you probably looked at 15 euros. Looks like you've never played the game either, seeing as you don't know how much it costs. Your opinion is null and invalid.
