A budget ND1000 filter review - 10 stopper!

Thanks for the write up, just ordered a 52mm 10 stop filter from their eBay site. Worth giving a go at £16.50 if the results are reasonable :)

Another couple of examples from today while doing the shutter speed bit for my course.
Added the same contract and vibrance settings to both, and set colour temp and tint to the same on both. Gave the 15sec exposure a 1/3 stop bump in Lightroom. Exposures were only 9 1/3 apart in camera.

You shouldn't need any kind of ND for fireworks due to them being mostly set off at night and it being pretty dark already!

also been looking for a while at 10 stops, am going to a car show next weekend so this might come in handy as will be crowds, so gone and clicked buy! hopefully receive it by midweek.

great lil review btw

I was looking for a 82mm Camdiox 10 stopper on fleabay and found a site doing them for £85 or at auction with £15 starting price......

Got it for £15 (nobody else spotted or wanted it :D)

£85 sounds expensive for the Camdiox stuff but I can't say I've looked at the 82mm filters.

That being said, £15 is a good price :)

I've just ordered the 10 stop Camidox and a Camidox CPL, hope the CPL is as well regarded too but I will report back.

Looking for a 10 stop for my Canon 10-18. How have you guys got on with this filter then? Love my Hoya Pro ND1000 for my 18-55 but it's significantly dearer. If there's not going to be any difference in results I guess it'd make sense to plump for the cheaper filter!
