That is a good idea, it is a cracking gesture from the OP but his budget and Paris is going to be tough.

Okay, so my brother is willing to go halves with me.

£250 each = £500.

If anyone could recommend any hotels near the heart of Paris for 4 nights for £362 - 1 room, 2 adults, I'd love to hear about it.

Now to do some of my own research!
