Ugh. Cut my hand to shreds arguing with my parents. Knuckle skin hanging off. At nealrly 24 it's pretty sad, first time i'll probably need stitches. Worst thing is i don't even live at home. Behave yourselves guys :)

Ceramic sugar container. Sounds stupid but there is 23 years or background to pick up. Waiting for a doctor now. Pretty civilised otherwise.

So you cut yourself cos you got in a bad temper ?

Nice to see our taxes being spent wisely..

I thought you were going to have a rant at the bad service in A&E as well :p was coming to defend them to the hilt for my treatment for a recent bad wrist break :p

Well consider this a lesson in life... losing your rag generally gets you nowhere, and if it does its usually either A&E or a police cell.

I spent 4 hours in A and E before christmas with an injured knee from football, to be sent home being told that I had lightly sprained it and it would be fine in a week or so. 4 months later ive just had an operation to reconstruct my cruciate ligament. I'd only use A and E again if i knew i had a broken a bone.

6 Stitches over 2 fingers. I was just rather dismayed at waiting from 2am till 6am when it only took 10 mins to sort and there was only 5 other people waiting. Hence why i posted from my phone whilst staring at the floor. Not a nice place to be overnight.

First time experience and yeah I deserve the pain. Wasting tax payers money? I've been paying tax for years and only been in Hospital once before to get checked over for a bike accident. Half my finger skin was flapping about and it wouldn't heal without some stitches in there.

Typing with one finger on an ergo keyboard is very difficult, but the service was pretty good despite the wait and nonchalant doctor who was too chilled for his own good.
