A few ISO/Headunit questions..

must have missed this thread, I used http://www.gutterslide.com/ip-bus_hack/ to connect my ipod to my pioneer P77MP headunit very very cheaply (£1 vs £20 for the real deal) and it sounds perfect.

I'm running it to two amps which in turn feed a set of componants upfront and a sub in the rear.

Just to add to what others have said, you will need to go through your headunit to amplify the signal coming from your device.

Myself and my dad have devised a way to solve my little problem - luckily he's found an old amp, so its all sorted.

Right - the 1 preout on the back of my headunit (2x RCA) - would this be used for a sub(via an amp)?

Depends, it could be -->

- Font Out
- Rear Out
- Non Fading

Should be stickered up, its prolly a Front Out if its the only RCA connection so it can be used for a sub or fronts.
