Ive just built a small storage server with 8 disks (3 *2TB & 5 *1TB) - Im wondering what is a good temp range to keep them at?
No reason why 2TB disks should be about 10 degrees hotter than the 1TB drives is there?
Majority of the 1TB's are at 23 /24 degrees (primary data drive is at 44 degrees so Im going to change it out and see if its just that area of the case causing issues or if the drive has issues itself)
2TB drives are anywhere between 32 - 37 degrees (although these are newer so I havent monitored them for as long)
