A-Level Results.

Don't worry too much about AS, they can be sorted as you said :)

I think I got c or d overall for As in physics, and I took two of them again, and got A in both ;).
 
A2 results:
Mathematics - A
Further Mathematics - A
Physics - A
Chemistry - B

AS result:
Economics - a

Good enough to get me into Imperial :D. Slightly disappointed with the Chemistry, may be going for a remark on units 4 and 5 as I was only a few marks off the A overall.

And I've gotta turn them all into A's or else I won't get into my Uni. >_<

Well atleast this is a wakeup call, I'm gonna buckle down and revise for resits starting from today - no more laid back attitude next year.

596/600 for english lit which puts me in the top 5 in the country. Got my photo in the paper and everything. :cool:
 
i dont understand this...

how come alevel people get instant acceptance on the morning of results.

ive had my results for a week and ive had nothing regarding letters, ucas track, phonecall to confirm any place in any course.

my status is still conditional which it has been since like march.

alevel students always come first :p

This sucks. It's easier to get an A at A-level. Far easier!

Why the hell are they trying to make it harder? If the "intelligent" people can't get into good unis, it's because they suck at interviews or have nothing else to offer besides academic qualities. Still, I reckon a lot of people - like myself - ****** about during the AS level year. I guess next year I'll actually start working. I guess it prooves that with AS levels you can't do the GCSE "night before" thing and end up with straight As/A*s :D

Just got my AS level results, not too pleased though I was half expecting some grades lower than I'd like in a few subjects:

Politics - A (278/300)
Law - B (218/300 - module results were ABD - I really don't know what went wrong with the last module but atleast it's only 1 to resit)
Economics - B (224/300 - AUA - GAH! :confused: )
English B (231/300 AAD)
Maths - C (180/300)

I'm going to phone in about the U in Economics - was quite surprised about that really.

If they do this at uni i'll be happy, you can't get more than 80% even if you get the same answer as marking guidelines ! :mad:
