Well i got my AS Results and i got a few U's in there but overal im happy considering im not exactly the smartest guy around.

English Literature - 205/300 (C?)
Business Studies - 188/300 (C?)
Psychology - 202/300 (C?)
Those are equivalent to A's at Bideford College because all the teachers are clueless ***** :)

Guys you all gotta go to uni mainly for one reason. 100Mbit internet connection :D IF you live in the campus though.

Hmm no......It's all firewalled, slower than 1mb at peak time plus you can't play any online FPS games, filesharing and amoungst other quirky things.

At warwick the internet connection was awful, and the network went down an lot because it was outsourced to some terrible company. They were obsessed with trying to stop students doing certain things on the network so much they made it terribly flakey.

That said, when it worked, the lan itself was fantastic ;)

was 10mb at essex all the time and with dc hubs and the clever few who tunnelled through the firewall it was rather nice have 1mb up/down :)

after failing all my as levels last year,(I have problems with exams so have had support for it) redid computing and did GCE ICT (double award).

Got CD in ict and a d in computing, with a few b's for units. I've passed and am stupidly happy :D Still shaking. Well done all :)

Here we go, AS results:

Maths: A
Chemistry: A
Physics: A
German: B (:()

Might seem a bit sad that I'm disappointed with the B, but I was a couple of marks off the A, and I'm getting a remark on one of the modules that I got a C on.

Anyway, I'm pleased, it was what I expected :p

absolutely blooming chuffed :D:D:D:D:D

because im not that clever, im over the moon with my a level results

c = business studies
c = design and tech
c = gen studies
d = ict

Havn't read it all but well done to those who achieved their results :)

(And I expect to see those at bristol going mad in freshers week ;) )

My AS results:

Maths - E
Chemistry - E
Physics - dont know until august 2007 (pointless complication)

:(

Well, at least i passed (the words of everyone i have talked to)

I should not have chosen these subjects (except maybe physics), so uninteresting.

Just got in got an A in business studies, b in psychology, d in history and a d in general studies so I'm going to Surrey to study business management.

Well done guys, congratulations to those that got the results they needed and got in.

If you didn't, well unlucky. It's not the end of the world, contact other universities that were on your list before and made you an offer, and read through the clearing guides. You'd be surprised at some of the universities and courses that are in clearing, and you may be even more surprised to find the entry requirements dropped significantly. :)

Well done to the relevant peeps.

My bro got 4A (maths, physics, colouriing in, gen studies) + 1B (english) at AS and A at A2 (french - took it ahead) = 410 pts already.

:eek: considering I got 480 pts after A2. His aim is to nuke all my achievements from orbit.

There is a way around it :D though. Just tunnel it through port 80 which HAS to be open or no surfing would be possible.

hahha found that quite ammusing

Found this on Sky News, im not trying to put anyone down.

'A Czech student has gained 10 A grade A-levels and three distinctions in the follow-on Advanced Extension Awards.

Jan Sramek, who attended Bootham School, in York under a scholarship scheme for Eastern European student, said he was "delighted".

He sat 44 papers during a marathon 78 hours in the exam room and his school said he achieved full marks in nearly half the papers he sat.

The 19-year-old is preparing to study at Cambridge University, where he has been awarded a scholarship to read economics.'

What as if, thats insane in my opinion, 78 hours of exams he must be crazy.
