A-Level Results.

Getting my AS was scarier than A2 results........because I got my letter of acceptance to my uni from UCAS in the post before i went and got my results :)

But getting AS results wasnt that bad, because you can just re-take if you didnt do very well.

Goodluck everyone!

I'm Sure You Can Get A Job Don't Worry. Does It Hurt To Type Capital Letters For Each Word?

UCAS track is suspended at the moment so not sure what that post was about.

It'll be up at midnight though I guess?
And it's possible you can see then?

Edit: Because the unis got our results like last week and have already made a decision. So it's highly possible the reason UCAS track is down now is because they were inputting the decisions.

Surely?

Uni is not required to get a decent a job unless you want to be a doctor/engineer/lawyer etc.. however it does make it easier for some jobs/working you way up in a company and is a good experience

I hope so, I haven't got the grade for the course I applied for but they offered me another lower course if I didn't get the grades so i'm hoping the Ucas track will be able to tell me something in the morning before I go get results.

good luck, im sure most of you won't need it and will be pleasantly suprised! I remember my results last year (lucky my mum knew they were coming out 'cause i sure didnt) it was all fine & led to just getting wasted :)

Track should be up around 8am tomorrow. But it would more likely be at 10ish

You don't need to go to university to get a good job in the same way that you won't necessarily get a good job because you've been to university.

Off the top of my head I can think of four people I know who went to university, left with degrees which were necessary for them to get the jobs they have which fall into that wage bracket. In all fairness they have no ambition to go much further and are happy enough with what they have but don't think going to university will automatically mean you don't have a boring, dead end job.
