Ok this is a serious thread (for once)!

In september I am going to be taking 4 A levels:
English Language
English Literature
History
Geography

I am then going to drop History at AS level, I was wondering if anyone had already done these subjects and if anyone can tell me the work load or any tips on getting through these subjects.
Thanks :)

Oh dear, I'm really looking forward to it though.
I'm predicted A*/A in geography, B/C in History and B in English literature and language.

I think AS is the 1st year of A-levels, and A2 is the 2nd year.

Yeah thats right. Don't think I could do 4 full A levels, I would probably die from stress. :p

What do you plan to do after your A levels? You have chosen 4 subjects that arent that dissimilar.

If you havent decided what you want to do after, which may include going to uni I would suggest opting for more sciency subjects, often regarded as more academic and a damn lot more useful for getting into uni with.

I am going into primary school teaching, and yes i even know which degree I am going to do. It is a 4 year course, 1 year taken up by work experience. I can specialise in 2 subjects which is going to be maths and ICT. I don't need to have taken these as A levels so it will be ok.
Now i just have to find a university, but not until I need to lol!
Far too much planning ahead so far lol! :p

It will be useful though, surely, to have more than a GCSE in something that you plan to devote the rest of your career to.

You should really be doing these at A level standard, it will be beneficial to getting into uni.

I can't change my options unless I want to pay to do that, if I don't get the results I need I am going to do a BTECH in early years care or something, equal to 4 A levels. Then somehow that can get me into uni, don't ask how!

Oh I'm going to have a gap year, then I'm going to go to uni.
Down where I live you can't earn a decent amount of money without having qualifications and I refuse to let that happen. I'm not going to be stuck in a dead end job...
Sorry rant over! :p

English language I am doing, DONT DO IT!!!!!1111oneone eleven onehundredandeleven It is stupidly hard :(
BREATHE!!
I have been told about the workload but I am prepared to put the work in, I need to get better results than my brother lol! :p
Oh and i want to do this for myself as well, to prove I'm not a waste of space!! :p

I work hard and play hard, lol!
But many people haven't even started their revision, I've been writing up two years worth of geography, history and maths notes. Is this normal for a 16 year old girl?

i don't want to sound like i'm out of touch here (but i am, so nevermind) but "megzy" is just someone messing around right? or am I alone in thinking this?

I think you are alone in this, well for this thread anyway! :p
Anyone got any tips on revision? My hand hurts from writing up all my notes, I got up at half 5 cause I couldn't sleep. It's now 12 and my hand hurts :(
