A Liverpool thread

WOW is all i can say. some stunning images there cykey. you must be really proud of them :)

Amazing photos there! I couldn't pick just one that stood out so I will say I love 2,3,4,5 and 6! :D

The shots of Goodison Park don't really work for me (if I may be so bold). Maybe they have more meaning to an Evertonian / Liverpudlian (spelling?). But as I said, there are some amazing photography, you should be very proud.

They're the ones I had trouble with most. I'm not a football fan and the grounds are just rubbish from the oustide, so it was very hard to capture something great. Liverpool's was good due to the statue of Bill Shankly. Everton's statue is rubbish to photograph.

10-22 and HDR + Liverpool is becoming a bit of a signature for you CyKey.

I like them and now that your finished hopefully we can see something a little different other than those 3 combinations? :D

Liverpool is only going to get better over the next 2 years, and these are just the major places. Plenty more things to shoot. However, this year I do plan to travel more so who knows :)

Come try Nottingham, we have no decent buildings and a good likelyhood you will get shot if you point a camera at someone ;)

That just makes it a little more of a challenge for you, gives you a little more scope to be creative ;)

I was thinking the same.

Great shots. Very 'cyKey' in style. :)
They just need a MonkeyHat watermark and they'll be perfect. ;)

As soon as they have the aweful XMAS dercorations down it could (for the people who don't live in Nottingham it looks like it was coated in glue and driven through Halfords).

You dont by any chance write tourist guide books do you?

If not - you really should! :D

Jaw dropping, outstanding pictures. I've just starting producing some HDR images using your guide and if I can get them to even a 1/4 of your standard I would be more than chuffed :)

Great photos mate.

Glad you liked them. My one aim was to make Liverpool look fantastic and I've had people tell me that they love how good Liverpool looks.

Good luck, don't forget to post them :)

really distinctive set, you know I'm not too keen on HDR but I can imagine the client being delighted with the set. Great work mate and well done on getting the commission in the first place :)

I must say I'm not really a fan of #7, maybe it's just the small version, but it looks cluttered

Got a bigger version cykey ** ok to post? Would like to see if a bigger version makes it any easier on my eyes.

Cheers :) They're not everyone's cup of tea but I've sold a few prints and I have a few in the Anglican Cathedral (the gothic one there), so I'm happy.

Unfortunately I can't post a larger one. I guess its because theres just so much detail? Dfhaii thought it was due to a lack of shadows.
