New rims (£299 + £305 tyres):

Matt black it (£50):

Wouldn't normally be mad on mercs, but for £1k you can't say no.

Nobody wants them due to fear over fuel and tax...Which means you can roll deep in a luxmobile, pay the extra fuel and tax, and still spend less than buying/running a Focus or similar.

Plus, at 300 quid, if/when it goes wrong, unbolt the wheels and LPG kit, scrap the car (probably get 300 quid for that alone) and buy another.

And while on the subject of wheels, if you spent the wheel budget on some nice, flat-faced, dished Lorinsers from ebay.de, that car would pwn.

There's something slightly off about the wheels and I think its just slightly too low. I love the idea, but the execution is slightly off for me. Still a brilliant bargain though!

That doesnt look bad but its important to point out that generally speaking £300 does NOT buy an S320 with LPG, especially not a reasonably late one.

The wheels are crap, but I just thought it was pretty cool for a grand. I'd drive it. If it had another 2 of the rear rims on the front, rather than the shallow dish ones it would be awesomer.
